Daniel Deserto is a soon to be University of Hartford graduate, where he will receive his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Minor in Civil Engineering. An Eagle Scout of America, Olympic level athlete and master in Tae Kwon Do, as well as one of a few select students to attend Rochester Institute of Technology in high school earning his Technical Mastery degree in Computer Assisted Design and General Engineering through CCAT’s New Vision program and RIT’s Project Lead the Way program. Dan has accumulated numerous awards throughout his educational career for excellence in academics, athletics, and entrepreneurship.

Dan considers himself a "Renaissance Entrepreneur".  His peers and professors have noted Dan for having a passion for learning about multiple fields and delving into projects and ventures ranging from Bio-Tech to innovative Social Media applications.  An inventor at heart he is the founder of Fenom LLC and in the process of working on his 3rd and 4th USPTO patents. Dan takes a Polymath approach to learning; he believes this has helped him to be highly effective in design and creating unique business models. 

By the end of 2010 Mr. Deserto placed 1st in the University of Hartford Business Plan Competition being the first engineering student in the schools history to win it. He also placed 2nd in the Connecticut Entrepreneurship Foundation’s Business Plan Competition with his business partner Matthew Cosenza for their business venture, JumpTheClub LLC.
