Matthew Cosenza is a University of Hartford graduate, where he received his BSBA in Management and minors in Economics and Finance. Last year he was inducted into the highest B-School International Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma, for his high scholastic achievements. He is an active member in the Barney School of Business Leadership Council, where he single-handedly raised over $2000 for the victims of Haiti through the Save the Children Foundation.
Mr. Cosenza’s writing skills have been exemplified over the years. He has been a guest writer for The University of Hartford’s school paper, The Informer. His technical writing skills and business acumen have allowed him to write and critique numerous business plans.
In 2009 & 2010 Matthew won his schools business plan competition, and was a presenter for the schools international business plan competition. In early 2010, Mr. Cosenza’s business plan earned him a spot in the Top 5 of undergraduate entrants for the State of Connecticut Business Plan Competition hosted by Connecticut Innovations. In addition his elevator pitch at the State Competition earned him 2nd place out of over 100 entrants.
By the end of 2010 Mr. Cosenza placed 2nd in the Connecticut Entrepreneurship Foundation’s Business Plan Competition with his business partner Daniel Deserto for their business venture, JumpTheClub LLC.
